Subject: [EXTERNAL] veterans and ABNs
Hey I have a questions for everyone. With the VA, clients can choose to utilize their veterans benefits bypassing all other payors. So on an ABN is it OK to state this??? Its not something I have been questioned
on before. I feel like it is because it is stating why we aren’t billing Medicare first which is a notice to the client in case they wish to appeal coverage.
