Has anyone else run into denials for Respite from VA Optum? Everything was working just fine until the end of August, early September, they started denying all of my respite claims. The denial reason says "This benefit is included in the payment/allowance for another service/procedure that has been adjudicated." It makes no sense to me because I have active authorizations for the skill. VA likes to have a separate auth for respite. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
