Yes, we have to accept the adjustment, I have tired to appeal them before, but if the hospital billed the stay as observation, we don’t have much of a choice.

Yes, we just had one of those. What I have found is that the hospital ended up billing the stay as outpatient observation and not as an inpatient stay.

Good afternoon,
I am wondering if any home health providers are having recoupment requests from Humana for claims in 2022 with the following reason:
No acute or post-acute care in the 14 days prior to the home health admission
Just curious if anyone else is having this same recoupment request reason as I have not seen this one before and we have received a few now. Thanks!
