Good afternoon,
I have a few claims denied for exceeding the 20 visits allowed per year by BC. Our prior auth dept submits the auths online and says for this reason they are not able to obtain prior auth for backdated service dates. Wondering if other agencies have had luck obtaining retro auth and if so, what does that process look like? If not do you automatically write off the denied visits. Or do you try to appeal showing medical necessity? Thanks!
