Good morning,
We have a patient that has Medica Choice care PMAP. A social worker went out and we billed it under S9127. It denied with reason code 199. When I called Medica they stated they follow DHS guidelines. I am assuming this is a service that Medica will not cover
but wanted to confirm. Does anyone know if this is a covered service. If it is not, do you know where I could find that information in a written format? Thanks!
