Good afternoon “Billers List,”

Several years ago,  CMS indicated that hospices must report a monthly charge total for all drugs using revenue code 0250.  At that time,  we made a system logic (hospice) change to basically roll-up these revenue code 0636 (drugs) items into revenue code 0250.  Does anybody know the official CMS rule (I have been digging a bit) for Home Health (not for Hospice)   I believe our Home Health clams with a potential rev code 0636 are getting RTP’d / returned back to us.  Can we have a procedure/charge like J7050.01 (Saline) with revenue code 0636 be rolled-up (on the claim) into a revenue code such as 272 (or 270?)?   Or - maybe some of us are just deleting those supply/drug lines (Rev Code 0636) from the Home Health claim before they are submitted?

Thank you if you may have recommendations/thoughts on what has worked well (for CMS/Medicare claims in particular).
