You have to go to the other payor screen in mn’its and list what was paid by Humana.

We billed Humana as primary. The claim was applied to the annual deductible. Tried billing it to Medicaid as secondary, but keep getting the same rejection

Anyone know how to get MNIT’S to recognize this as a secondary claim, that the primary payor already paid?

MNits is so much more helpful though. I had to bill per visit payer claim to Medicare secondary and it never did go through and we ate it…..

In the past, I have had to manually send a bill to MA, because the billing for us to Humana is PDGM rules and MA is not.  It’s a pain.

Humana paid us less than our contracted amount, stating the client had a deductible.  The client should not be responsible if they have Medicaid, so we are trying to bill Medicaid for that amount.
