Do any other agencies always bill SUP visits if the client has PCA, even if they get SNV? And if the SUP visits are generally a longer visit then a regular nurse visit. I am sure it all depends on what is done. I was trying to find the criteria for what nurses actually do for the SUP visits and some insurances say they can take up to 2 hours to complete the visit. I am curious if you know if this is a normal assessment for that.

I am wondering how other agencies are billing PCA SUP visits. Do you always bill a SUP visit if the client has PCA services. Do you have any insurances the visit is done but can’t bill for. How long are your nurses generally there for the visit. We are making sure we are billing correctly, bc I feel like things change all the time.
