Sorry if you have gotten a secure email from me, I am not sending them that way, but something in the UCare email thread is triggering my response to go secure. Anyway, thought I would share this:
I had a biller from another agency call me yesterday, she said she called UCare, they reprocessed all of her claims and were paying them. Evidently they are aware that they have a system issue on their end with the Medicaid claims requiring the 50 code when they should not be. The person who called me was given the impression that UCare had this fixed in their system now. I guess time will tell, if you try to send a Medicaid claim without the code 50 now.
