Stefanie, did Allina opt out?  It was presented to us as well, they did not mention the opt out, although we did ask and thought it strange that there was no communication from Humana at all regarding this.

It was done in a that this was the thing but later we learned there is an opt out.

We have had a presentation also but the timeline is so vague and it seemed like it was not optional, so that was making we nervous.

PHCN presented to our agency as well, to me they came across as if there was no choice in this matter, however, I do not think that is the case.  I do not believe you have to contract with them.  I am not in charge of the contracts with our facility, we have a separate department for that, but as far as I know we are not contracting with them at this point.

Have any of you had communication or maybe even switched your Humana to a company called PHCN?  We are understanding that all Humana homecare in Minnesota is being subcontracted over to PHCN.  Last I heard was that PHCN and Humana were working on that contract and projecting end of first quarter or early second quarter to have that in place.  Then of course we have to finalize a contract with PHCN but no information is coming our way on that so I am worried about that transition.
