We recently had a request on 2022 claims that were overpaid. We processed and fingers crossed they have not come back again to request.

No, we are not having that issue, yet. The VA has terrible record keeping. I wish you didn’t have to deal with that.

Good morning,
I am curious if any other providers are having this issue. We had received bill of collection letters from the VA on numerous patients a few years ago. The letters stated
there was a fee schedule change and the VA overpaid on claims that they never recouped the overpayments on. They were asking that we refund it. I had called on them all numerous times because the VA had actually recouped the overpayment on all of the patients.
We kept receiving letters. So, I wrote a letter back to the VA explaining we would not refund them the money (because they already recouped it). I attached remits showing proof of the recoupment and attached it all to a copy of the bill of collections they
had sent us. Those letters were sent to the VA back in 2021. We stopped receiving the letters. Now the end of December they sent us letters again on all of these same patients. Is anyone else having this issue? Thank you!
