It sure is.  I wonder if they’ve gotten so many calls about it that now they’re making things difficult for everyone.  With Medica it really depends on the representative you get.  I got lucky and got one that knew what to do and was willing to do it.  I told my fellow employee that when they call if they get someone who doesn’t want to help or doesn’t know how to just hang up and call back.  It’s a hassle, but at least then things get paid!!

Yes, same date range.  It looks like they are still getting denied for the end of November claims.  What a mess.

Yes, she did say there was some sort of problem but I don’t remember what exactly what she said.  Where your claims for that same time period, end of October, early November?

Rita,  Did Medica tell you that they were having an issue with this? We received a letter from them today asking us to check our claims.  We have not changed how we bill.

Family Home Healthcare did and we had to call and have them all reprocessed.  It was for very specific dates at the end of October and first part of November.

Good morning,

I am wondering if anyone else is having issues with Medica denying PCA claims stating that no designated provider showing.
