I have been struggling with HP! I have some Medicare Advantage clients that I can't get their claims paid. I have talked to a few people and they told me that HP does not pay G codes and that I should use T codes on a 30 day claim, like
an episode even though they don't pay episodically. So confusing!! I have not had an MSHO client be "Medicare" yet. HP is a very small payer for us.

Hi,
I’m wondering if anyone has been billing Health Partners MSHO using the “G” codes? In the past, we have determined prior to billing if the client is homebound, we use the “G” codes (Medicare benefit) and if they are not we were using the S & T codes (Medical Assistance benefit).
HP is now denying all the “G” codes stating we can only bill with the S &T, which pay a LOT less on the fee schedule.
Any input is appreciated.
