I had some denials on my MSHO PDGM final claims stating they were denied because of missing RAPs.  I had to call and tell them they haven't required RAPs for a long time, just NOAs.  So they were being sent back for review and reprocessing.  Amerigroup must be glitchy somewhere for these weird denials.

Yes, I just had some that I sent yesterday come back with that same reason.  I was going to reach out to this group to see if it was just me.   Not that I am happy this happened to you, but this tells me it must be a system issue at BCBS.  ☹  Ugh, here we go again.   I will reach out to our contact and see if this is on their radar.

Hello Everyone!

 

Just wondering if anyone else has been having the issue of BCBS Medicaid claims being rejected stating “missing required HIPPS code”?   We have not had to include this on our claims before; started getting rejections in Ability from the payer on 10/28.  These are for service dates in October.

 

Did something change that I am not aware of?
