Hi Nazneen,

Yes, Medicare should be billed as secondary.

Did you send a NOA to Medicare upon admit to Home Care?

Hi,

I have a member under United Health Plan. this is  commercial insurance and is  Primary.  Medicare is Secondary.  United Health was billed and the entire amount was deducted from the member deductible, which is around $2,000.  It states that this is Patient Responsibility.

As Medicare is secondary, can we bill Medicare as a denial from his primary?

Thanks
