I bill the G0299 and G0300 and use 15 min increments. This is for my Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans. I use T codes for Medicaid payers. I have experimented with T code vs. G code on some private insurance claims and discovered that it varies greatly by payer which one is the best one to use.SaraOn Fri, Apr 22, 2022 at 11:26 AM Marnie Pogreba <marniepogreba@lakewoodhealthsystem.com> wrote:We only have RN’s, we do use the different G codes listed below for RN’s (mostly G0299 and G0493) on Medicare and Medicare Advantage claims. We only have RN so I only use the G0299 for Medicare and Medicare type payers.. I would also be interested to hear if other providers use the 15 minute code and what they use them for.

I have a couple of questions regarding the G Codes when billing RN services.
Is everybody using these codes or are they just billing with the G0299 RN code?
If you are using them, is it only for the Medicare and Medicare like payors?
For our waiver and MA clients we are using the T codes.
Thanks for your time and information.
