I send of copy of the remit showing the deductible along with the private pay co-pay/deductible amount. Almost all of our commercial clients have co-pay/deductibles.

We have a BCBS client that has not met a deductible yet, and I know from history of the agency I do not recall anyone billing a patient directly. As I am now overseeing this area, just trying to get an idea of how I might go about this
