Availity said the problem was "policy issue on the payer end"

Do you know what your clearinghouse changed or would you be able to find out?  I feel like I keep asking for help and getting the run around from all directions.

We received that same error through our clearinghouse (Waystar) for a few days.  They had to change something on their side and then they were able to go through just fine.  So, possibly check with Availity to see if something has to change on their side?

Can anyone help me with this error?  I'm trying to submit a final claim on an existing patient to optum VA and it's rejecting on the clearinghouse (availity) with the following error:  O NPV084 LINE ITEM CHARGE AMOUNT MUST BE GREATER THAN ZERO UNLESS REVENUE CODE IS 22

 

I've reached out to my support for nightingale notes, but she isn't sure either.  She's questioning if they changed their billing requirements to have a .01 on the 0023 revenue code for the final as well as the RAP?  I've tried reaching out to Optum VA and I haven't gotten any straight answers from them either.
