So we are successful in billing this payer id for Ucare. We set it up differently than the other Ucare plans. We use Availity and Rycan vendors for claims submissions. we can’t bill this id through availity so we set it up through rycan and it has been working perfectly. Rycan allows a claim scrubber so you can take the hour zeros out. That is our carefacts work around. Lol.

Hello!

I know this has been asked before but we continue to have issues with this payer ID.  And nobody can figure it out.  Hoping somebody out there in billers world has some insight. 

Admission Hour – Care Facts software generates an admission hour for our claims with bill type 322/323/324– listed as 00:00:00

Does anybody submit claims to this payer ID?

If yes – does your software generate an admission hour?

If yes – what is in that field?

If no – that might be our problem.

We have submitted these claims through Availity, Ability and neither vendor along with UCare or our software company can tell us if admission hour needs to be there and if it does, what should be in that field.

These are Medicare episodes payable through U-Care so bill code 322 = initial 323 = interim 324 = basically the final.

Any help/feedback is appreciated!!
