When I have weird denial codes that don't make sense, I just send another claim with just the DOS I need to get paid (making sure the codes are right 🙂)

Good afternoon,
I have a claim for the VA that went out with a G0493 code for SN. It denied with a CO18 duplicate claim/service. It is not a duplicate, the nurse visits with G0299 codes on that claim paid. I am thinking it's just the wrong code and should have been a G0299. Has anyone else had this happen? I am trying to avoid calling in since I honestly just have better luck with this group than I do the VA 🙂 Thanks!
