Subject: 2nd PDGM RAP question
**External Sender** |
So what are protocols for the second PDGM period RAP. I don't send both my RAPs at the start of an episode because there are times the patient will get discharged early. I have to send my rap TODAY so I don't get the penalty, but the patient is currently in the hospital and the nurse doesn't know if she will be back yet for this period. So I can send the RAP, but if the patient never comes back for services, do I have to void that RAP or do I leave it be and just not send the final?
