Will you please clarify – does the “VALID primary dx code” need to be pertinent to that patient and included on the final claim OR can the “VALID primary dx code” be any valid dx code and used as a placeholder until the coding is complete? AKA – can a dummy code that is a valid PDGM code be used on the RAP?

From my understanding we don’t need DX codes for the new Medicare RAPs..  Or do we?  Ours are getting denied with the NOICD code.  We use Home Care Home Base software.
