So that sounds like final claim every 30 days is PDGM. That is what I do but I have been sending RAPs.
My experience---- just had one denied because didn’t have EviCore auth.
On Evicore website it no longer lists Home Health needing auth. But Blues says it is still required and walked me thru about 20 steps to get to see that info.

My experience with BCBS Advantage, is yes, they do bill episodically. And, yes, I have to get an authorization from them through evicore. You can send a RAP but it is not required, you can just bill the Final every 30 days.

Good Morning,
Are BCBS Medicare Advantage plans following PDGM and billing episodically? I thought this was the case, but we received the approved service authorization from Evicore and they services are approved in visits and over a 4 month time span.
Now I am confused and second guessing myself. If anyone has experience with this please reach out.
