I had January claims pay, then reverse and deny.  I called in on it (took FOREVER to get someone) but they said they would reprocess because something was messed up on their end.

HI everyone, we have been having some issues with payments from the VA.  Not Triwest or the new Optum, but straight VA for typical home care services – SN, PT, OT, HHA, HMKG, etc. 

 

The first issue is that they aren’t paying claims fully and when we call, they know the fee schedule wasn’t correct and they are working on correcting them.  But currently November, December and January claims are short.  And they aren’t able to give us a date of when this will be fixed and caught up.

 

Have any of you received any other information that what I have?  Or do you have suggestions on how to get payment quicker from the VA? We would appreciate any words of wisdom or information!
