Hi all – this Billers Listserv is active and oh-so-helpful – I’ve learned a lot from following all your questions and answers, and I try to chime in when I have something to offer.
Well, I have something to offer (maybe) now: Would there be any interest in a periodic opportunity to meet up and have a chance for face-to-face conversation, discussion and networking? MHCA recently started this type of opportunity for
therapists, and they have really enjoyed getting to know one another and having a chance to talk about issues that are common to their group.
MHCA would help get the group going and one or two of our staff would attend the first meeting, but after that – it would be YOUR group. We’d ask one or two of you to chair/co-chair, and it would be up to you to decide:

Frequency of get-togethers

Locations – it can move around the state if you’d like!

Call-in options
·
Topics
Please let me know (well, let the group know) if this is something you’d be interested in, and if you think you would realistically participate. The pros of this idea are the chance to meet one another, get in-depth information in real-time
as opposed to waiting for email responses, and a great opportunity to learn from one another in an informal setting. The biggest con is fitting it in to your already busy schedule!
So … what do you all think?
