The reimbursement rate for home health aide visits is around $31.00 per hour or $62 per 2 hours. The DHS rate is $57.57 so it’s not too off base. This is based off how my December claims to Minneapolis VA are
paying so far.

Hello, I just got off the phone with the local VA about this same issue. I talked with Erica and her number is 320.252.1670 ext. 6581. I have multiple claims that I thought were processed wrong and that we were inaccurately paid however,
after talking with Erica I may not have been and if that is the case it is very concerning. I also have called a 1-877 # but for the last 2 weeks have been getting the run around and no one has helped me. Hope this helps!

Am I understanding they are not billing through TriWest and are doing their own thing?
I was told billing reimbursement rates are very low and they aren’t paying their providers promptly (even comparative to VA Timeliness).
Does anyone have a reliable contact up there?
