I went to UHC’s provider expo to ask a lot of questions and of course attend seminars.
😊 My main goal was to figure out what they wanted from providers since our Contract Manager was not responding. I didn’t receive answers that day and I think I spoke to everyone but the President
of the company. Since than what we feel it boils down to is they want the RAP but will only pay on the final, however their reimbursement is so
horrible that they basically will pay about 50% of the charges. Pulling teeth would probably be easier than getting a full direct answer from someone at UHC. They have been paying on our FC and the payment is equivalent to the amount of what we should
get on the RAP.

The only time I have had that happen was on a LUPA episode. It is always such a struggle isn’t it?

Does anyone have issues billing pps claims to United Heath? My RAP paid but claim did not. They pd it as zero payment. I had it reconsidered and they came back as it is pd correct.
