You use 322 for first claim 323 for ongoing claim and 329 for final or discharge claim. If they are processing them wrong they need to fix their issue.

Have you been paid for TOB 32X? I tried billing that when they switched to Ub’s last fall and every claim was denied for that TOB and I didn’t get paid until I switched to TOB 329.

32X is home care bill type. They started doing this to me too and I called and told them to figure out what they were doing and they fixed it.

Is anyone else having trouble getting paid from regular VA, not Tri-west, claims?  All of the sudden I’ve been getting denied for my Type of bill (TOB) being incorrect after how many years of billing the same way.  What TOB do you use for your Home Health Aide/Respite claims?  Thank you.
