I am willing to have several different contacts if: 1. They get the auths to us timely 2. They provide us with the nurses names, direct phone #/fax # and the SSN they work with. Otherwise I feel it will be a complete mess!!!

Subject: VA authorizations process
Does anyone else know the Minneapolis VA is changing their Community Care Department? They assigned a nurse to each provider for authorizations processing. Now they have changed that to the nurse assigned depending on the client SS#. There
are 26 different nurses we will be working with now instead of one or two. I have written a letter to them explaining how more confusing this is because we as providers are now going to have to work with so many different nurses. Having one or two contacts
makes it so much easier and more organized.
Any thoughts on this?
