I think I might test this method out. I really do not want to wait for them to take their time and have it look like we were overpaid.

Back when we used to bill TriWest before UnitedHealthcare took over, our RAP payments were not taken back either. I found sending in a void of the RAP claim usually (usually!) generated
a takeback of the RAP payment. Again, not sure if this would work this time around or if it would just further muddy already cloudy waters. Maybe best just to wait and see, but keep this in your back pocket as a last-resort idea.

This issue was discussed within this group a couple of weeks ago and someone had noted that TriWest reported that the take backs will come at a later date when they get caught up, due to backlog of home care
claims.
I don’t recall who reported this, sorry.

We have this same issue. Tri West pays the RAP and then they pay the Final but never re-coup the RAP payment. I have reached out to Tri West a couple of times about this, they never really give me a clear
answer. The last time I called they said they could not give me an answer at that time due to the back log of Home Care claims they have.

So we are getting paid by triwest for quite a bit of our claims now. However, they pay our RAPs in full and our claims in full but don’t take back the RAP payment. Is anyone else having this happen? My concern is being overpaid so much
more than we should be and I need to follow up with Triwest on this.
