1.     Sheri is supervisor of the nurse coordinators at the Mpls VA. She has been a contact regarding getting set up with Triwest. I have to be honest in saying I sense frustration with this transition with her as well. She told me all skilled nurse services must transition to Triwest prior to 9/30

3.      Danielle is the person that is assisting with setting agencies up with Triwest. I have had to resend documents because they apparently do not get to where they need to go.

I have not had any veterans transition to Triwest because of the delay in getting us “approved”. I am not too sad about that

Good morning all,

I haven’t met most of you – my name is Karen Peterson and I am the new MHCA Regulatory Affairs and Advocacy Manager – but I wanted to let you all know that both Kathy Messerli and I are following this online conversation and we are working on determining a strategy to help ease this pain.  I really appreciate your messages, and being detailed in your notes helps us better understand what you are facing – which helps us prepare to meet with people at the VA, at TriWest, at Optum, and in the government.  Any suggestions or possible solutions you have thought of (be as specific as possible) will also help us.  As we learn more we will keep you all updated.  You can also email me directly, kpeterson@mnhomecare.org.

Thank you –

Karen
