We use rev code 0581 and HCPC G0156. And sorry, there was a change on 10/1/2018 to that rev and hcpc code. Sorry forgot about that until I looked at our setup.

Bonnie- our Director has contacted the VA MPLS Director several times regarding auths. We have sent several lists with patient names and auths we are looking for. It hasn’t helped much, we notice after sending those that we received about
5 of them. But that Director is no longer with the MPLS VA. I have also contacted the auth person on a fax cover sheet because it will list out their name, direct phone # (most of the time) and their email address. I have gained some headway doing that.

We continually fight to get a hard copy of the Auth, ( which has the Auth number needed for Billing)
It has delayed our billing/payment many many times.
If anyone has a better system to obtain that information, please share
